Slea Head Quilt Along - Welcome!!

We are so close to the beginning of the Slea Head Quilt Along!! Less than a week to go! The quilt along will start July 1st and run through August 3rd. 

I am so excited to get started on this creative journey with you. We will be stitching along the the rolling green hills and sheep dotted pastures of the Dingle Peninsula. Bringing the spirit of Ireland straight to your sewing space.

The Schedule

Week 1: Pick your size and your fabrics The Slea Head pattern comes in 3 sizes baby, throw, and twin for maximum versatility. The pattern also lends itself to endless color combinations.

Week 2: Cut your fabric Spend this week cutting all your fabric. Remember to use labels for easy sewing later.

Week 3: Decide on your layout You can get as creative as you want here. Choose your own layout, let it be random, or use one of the easy to follow layouts designed by me.

Week 4: Sew your blocks Spend some time at your sewing machine. Its time to assemble all your beautiful blocks.

Week 5: Assemble your quilt The home stretch. By the end of week 5 you will have a beautifully complete quilt top.

In week 1 we will be picking out our fabric. But if you want to get a jump start, here are the fabric requirements.
